Dyeing & Finishing Due to the need to control all aspects of the garment manufacturing process and a growing customer demand for quality dyed fabrics; Hytex’s dyeing division was started in 1991. With a 60,000 square feet production facility, our dye house is capable of meeting all your dyeing needs.

At Hytex dye works, your colors are scientifically matched in our laboratory, under a full spectrum light source, or specified from Pantone color chips. We have the ability to precisely match your colors with our Datacolor Datamatch color matching software that is coupled with a Spectraflash 600, which is a dual channel spectrophotometer to measure color in both reflectance and transmittance mode at 10 nm intervals within the visible spectrum (360-700 nm). Once the colors are matched, a file is created and is then transferred into another program called Datamaster textile dyeing software. This software controls the Datacolor Autolab Laboratory dispenser and solution maker. It gives precise and repeatable color formulations for dyeing.

Following the initial analysis and match by our lab technicians, you will receive a test package of fabric, along with pricing and delivery information. A nominal lab service charge is 100% refundable upon placement of production orders.
